⚽ Talent ID Holiday Course (Ages 5–7)

A fun and engaging holiday football course for boys and girls aged 5–7, designed to introduce young players to the game in a safe, positive and age‑appropriate environment.

Players will take part in enjoyable sessions led by Foundation coaches. Sessions will also be attended by our Academy Integration Manager as part of our Talent Identification Pathway.

All observation is supportive and pressure‑free, with enjoyment and development as the priority.

⚽ Talent ID Holiday Course (Ages 8–10)

Identifying talent is a highly specialised skill, and recognising young players with the potential to progress within the game presents significant challenges.

This course is designed to build upon the foundations developed through the Introduction to Talent Identification in Football, as well as any subsequent learning undertaken. It aims to enhance your ability to effectively recognise and assess talent within the game.

Participants will be introduced to the core principles of scouting, including match reporting, building and maintaining professional relationships, and analysing performance in relation to long-term potential.

The course will also explore more advanced scouting strategies and provide guidance on the effective management of the talent identification environment within a football club.

Day 1* – Saturday 11 April 2026
Time: 9.00am – 5.00pm
Location: The Foundry, West Ham United Foundation, E6 5NX.

Day 2* – Saturday 2 May 2026
Time: 9.00am – 5.00pm
Location: The Foundry, West Ham United Foundation, E6 5NX.

Additional Information
Lunch will be provided. Please inform the West Ham United Foundation of any dietary requirements or allergies in advance.

*To achieve the qualification, attendance on both course days is mandatory. Participants who miss a session will be required to rebook and attend the full course on an alternative date.
