We have a NEW innovative coaching programme that will galvanise your son or daughter’s passion for the game through an emphasised importance on becoming a master of the ball.

Individual weeks will focus on ball mastery and skills, ensuring that sessions have a high ball rolling time; players will have a high amount of touches of the ball!

Group Play weeks will be based around more structured sessions, where players will be able to utilise and apply their skills to various aspects of the beautiful game.

No sessions during half terms or bank holidays.

Identifying talent is a highly specialised skill, and recognising young players with the potential to progress within the game presents significant challenges.

This course is designed to build upon the foundations developed through the Introduction to Talent Identification in Football, as well as any subsequent learning undertaken. It aims to enhance your ability to effectively recognise and assess talent within the game.

Participants will be introduced to the core principles of scouting, including match reporting, building and maintaining professional relationships, and analysing performance in relation to long-term potential.

The course will also explore more advanced scouting strategies and provide guidance on the effective management of the talent identification environment within a football club.

Day 1* – Saturday 11 April 2026
Time: 9.00am – 5.00pm
Location: The Foundry, West Ham United Foundation, E6 5NX.

Day 2* – Saturday 2 May 2026
Time: 9.00am – 5.00pm
Location: The Foundry, West Ham United Foundation, E6 5NX.

Lunch will be provided. Please inform the West Ham United Foundation of any dietary requirements or allergies in advance.

*To achieve the qualification, attendance on both course days is mandatory. Participants who miss a session will be required to rebook and attend the full course on an alternative date.
