Year 1 Basketball after school club for pupils of Quilters Infants school in year 1.
These sessions will focus on developing the participants motor skills and ABC skills (Agility, Balance and Coordination) through fun and progressive athletics focused games/activities
These sessions are open to children aged 5-6 years old, currently in Year 1 and both boys and girls of all abilities are welcome!
Each session runs from 3:15-4:15pm. Each child will need to come in school PE clothing with appropriate footwear.
Collection will be from the Key Stage 1 school hall with parents advised to arrive 10 minutes prior to session finishing.

West Ham United Foundation Technical Development Centres are dedicated to improving the footballing capabilities of all players that engage with us, with a view to progressing them through our Player Pathway.

We have an innovative coaching programme that will galvanise your son or daughter’s passion for the game through an emphasised importance on becoming a master of the ball.

Individual weeks will focus on ball mastery and skills, ensuring that sessions have over 90% ball rolling time; players will be expected to have between 2000-3000 touches of the ball!
Group Play weeks will be based around more structured sessions, where players will be able to utilise and apply their skills to various aspects of the beautiful game.
